2024

It’s the year of Intellus in Chicago! We enjoyed meeting our clients and colleagues in our home town. We were closely involved with helping our clients to present innovative work on patient preferences, and contributed the Clear Health Communication Task Force’s work on applying health literacy principle to improving communication with diverse patient populations, such as patient with limited English proficiency.

After a prolonged period of virtual interactions, Bazis Americas made a significant return to face-to-face meetings by attending the first post-pandemic conference in Philadelphia.

In a significant stride towards patient-centered healthcare, our team contributed to developing and implementing a decision aid tool aimed at enhancing treatment decision-making for patients with a rare autoimmune hematological disorder.

2022

Work in the rare disease space continued. The Bazis Americas team presented and brought together parents of children diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy for the Intellus Worldwide Virtual Summit in April. Nadia Bodkin from Rare360, joined our round table and discussed with us the role of advocacy groups in patient-pharma communication. The Bazis Americas team continued their journey to help rare disease patients by volunteering their research skills for the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Families Advocacy Group.

The Intellus Clear Health Communication Task Force, which Tatiana Barakshina is part of, was recognized with the Intellus Impact Award for Advocacy.

2021

The year of big adjustment, when we embraced hybrid work and perfected online video interviewing skills, expanding the reach to audiences and geographies that traditionally were strictly offline. Notable industry events with Bazis Americas in-person presence included the Sawtooth Software annual conference in San Antonio, Texas. Anna Shevalova formed long-standing ties with Duchenne muscular dystrophy caregiver and patient communities. This project initially started as a European Society for Opinion and Market Research (ESOMAR) Research Got Talent entry and grew into a work-stream aiming to bring awareness and support for parents caring for children with this rare disease.

2020

While the schedule for travel changed because of COVID-19, our team stayed busy with virtual events, including The Quirk’s Virtual Event and Intellus Worldwide.
